Allison lives in Manhattan’s Lower East Side in a four-story walk-up where she has resided for the past 20 years. With a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Allison has deep roots in her neighborhood and has committed her time to community activism, civic engagement, and increasingly crucial efforts to preserve our democracy. She has worked in the private sector and in the public sector as a litigator for the City of New York’s Corporation Counsel and for the Court System as principal law clerk to the Hon. Arthur F. Engoron.
