U.S. Rep. Tom Suozzi and Republican challenger Mike LiPetri, the two candidates running for New York’s 3rd Congressional District, made their case to voters in Bay Terrace last week ahead of the upcoming election, with both candidates outlining their ability to work across the aisle with moderate members of the opposite party.
Suozzi, a Democrat who took back his seat in NY-3 2024 after vacating to run for governor in 2022, positioned himself as a moderate during a Meet the Candidates event at Bay Terrace Shopping Center hosted by the Bay Terrace Community Alliance, Inc. on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
