Council GOP notches one major win in Bronx election, fails to make net gain

Prior Borough President candidate, Vincent Jenkins was born in the Bronx and grew up in the Castle Hill neighborhood. He lived at Laurent Clerc Group Home, Hillside Family of Agencies, and Beacon of Hope House Cooke Residence for 20 years in the youth/adult congregate residence, and then Jewish Board Tanya Towers for more than 10 years.
He was executive director of Ely Cottage at Hillside Family of Agencies and attended Rochester School for the Deaf (RSD).
He’s had political experience as a canvasser, petitioner, residential advisory council, consumer council of Catholic charities for Beacon of Hope, facilitator at Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services JBFCS Tanya Towers and then at Board of Elections.
