Glen Cove’s Morgan Memorial Park revitalized with help from $500,000 state grant

A $500,000 grant has helped with revitalization efforts at Glen Cove’s Morgan Memorial Park, providing funding for the rehabilitation of the full length of the seawall, the restoration of the large granite ‘tea house’ at the north end, and renovation of the brick pavilions adjacent to the seawall.

State Assembly Member Charles Lavine, who helped the city secure state funding, said the park is an important and meaningful part of the local community during a ceremony showcasing the completed work.
