Working Families Party endorses Reynoso for congress, breaking with Mamdani

Vichal Kumar is a public defender and community advocate running for Congress in New York’s 7th District. For 20 years he has fought to keep families housed, defend families against deportation, and provide working-class New Yorkers the services they need including housing, healthcare, and employment. He built and scaled community holistic defense models to communities nationwide. The son of working-class immigrants, he grew up without health insurance in an overcrowded home. He accepts no corporate money and is running on a bold progressive platform rooted in 20 years of frontline work.
