New York State Senate / District 33

Gustavo Rivera (D) (WF)

(Incumbent)

Candidate Site

Gustavo Rivera, a life-long Democrat, was elected in November 2010 to serve Bronxites as their state senator for the 33rd Senate District.

He has passed legislation to empower patients and providers as they navigate a broken healthcare system, fought for historic tenant protections and rent regulation laws, won millions of dollars owed to Bronx public schools, and held the line for economic development and wage increases.

In 15 years, Senator Rivera has achieved an unprecedented record of accomplishments, and has done it all with the highest standards of integrity, restoring the trust of our community in our public servants.

Assembly Member Jessica González-Rojas.
