Great Neck village trustees welcome new kosher Asian restaurant, approve engineering contract

The Village of Great Neck Board of Trustees approved a new engineering services agreement, selected a new emergency notification provider and welcomed plans for a new kosher Asian restaurant during its Tuesday, Aug. 4 evening meeting.

Deputy Mayor Barton Sobel and Trustees Anne Mendelson and Eli Kashi unanimously approved a new retainer agreement with H2M Architects and Engineers, the village’s engineering consultant, following a discussion of rising costs. The agreement authorizes Mayor Pedram Bral to sign the 2026-27 contract.
