Mayor Zohran Mamdani said Monday that more New York City World Cup jerseys will be released after the first drop sold out Friday, drawing early-morning lines and extortionate resale prices.
Speaking Monday, Mamdani noted that some New Yorkers lined up as early as 1 a.m. outside the official City Store in lower Manhattan for the release announced the day prior.
