Assembly Member Jenifer Rajkumar announced her acquisition of more than $1 million in the State Budget on Tuesday, June 2, funding community organizations, public libraries, youth programs, food security initiatives, veterans’ services, public safety efforts, and economic development projects across Assembly District 38 — an area that represents Ridgewood, Woodhaven, Richmond Hill, Ozone Park and Glendale.
The funding package brings critical resources to families, seniors, veterans, immigrants, students, and working people, according to a press release. From economic development initiatives to investments in immigrant communities, the press release further outlines the secured investments that advance South Queens.
