On Monday, May 4, Council Member Phil Wong announced a Pet Food Giveaway for District 30 residents. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, at 6 p.m., at his district office, located at 58-38 69th St. in Maspeth, in partnership with Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC).
The giveaway is open exclusively to pet owners who live in District 30 — an area that covers Maspeth, Glendale, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Rego Park and Elmhurst — and will “provide pet food while supplies last, helping families care for their animals and ease the financial burden of pet ownership,” as stated in a press release.
