Flushing councilwoman partners with CUNY Law School to offer free bilingual legal consultations

Flushing Council member Sandra Ung is collaborating with the CUNY School of Law to help eliminate the financial limitations and language barriers that come with seeking legal help in her district.

Ung announced on Sept. 11 that the consultations will be made available in her Flushing district office — located at 135-27 38th Ave., Suite 388 — through June.

Consultations will be held with attorneys Chejin Park or Lisa Zheng, who can each address a wide range of legal concerns, including employment, housing, landlord-tenant relations, immigration and civil issues. There will be two six-hour courses offered per month until June.
