Larinda Camille Hooks represents New York’s 35th Assembly District, serving Corona, LeFrak City, East Elmhurst, Rego Park, and Forest Hills. A lifelong community leader, she previously served as president of the East Elmhurst-Corona Civic Association and the Ericsson Street Block Association, championing public safety and civic engagement.
Professionally, she was vice president of older adult services and economic development at Elmcor Youth & Adult Activities, Inc., and previously worked with the East Harlem Council for Community Improvement under OPWDD.
A proud mother of five and grandmother, Larinda fights for affordable healthcare, quality education, and safer communities.
