Gonzalo Duran (R) (C)

Candidate Site

Gonzalo Duran was born and raised in the Bronx. A former U.S. marine sergeant and Iraq War veteran, he has dedicated his life to service and leadership. Currently, as the CEO of a nonprofit, he has worked tirelessly to support his community in countless ways. As public advocate, his goal is to serve as a bridge between the mayor’s office and City Council, ensuring transparency and accountability. He is committed to expanding the reach of the public advocate’s office across all boroughs and transforming it into a true, powerful voice for the people of New York City.
