Mayor Mamdani jeered as ‘traitor’ by pro-Palestine protesters who crashed Oct. 7 vigil, chanted support for terrorists as New Yorkers mourn

Pro-Palestine protesters jeered Mayor Zohran Mamdani and disgraced a vigil in Union Square on Wednesday night honoring the victims of the Oct. 7, 2023 attacks in Israel — even having the temerity to chant support for the terrorists responsible for the murderous raid three years ago as New Yorkers tried to mourn.

Organizers initially planned the vigil to remember the 1,200 Jews murdered during the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel, and the thousands of Palestinians who have been killed in the years since in the war in Gaza.
