Manhattan elects brand-new congressional slate as Democrats sweep state races

In a historic Election Day, Manhattan voters welcomed in a new congressional delegation, electing three Democrats — one of them a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) — to represent the populous borough in Washington.

Meanwhile, the Democratic base in the State Legislature remained relatively unchanged.
