The spending race between the two Oyster Bay Town supervisor candidates is not close, with the Republican incumbent Joseph Saladino having raised more than 77-times the amount that Democratic challenger James Hoyle has, but both candidates are feeling confident about where they stand months away from the November election.
Saladino’s re-election campaign has raised $1,164,351.19 through July 15, while Hoyle has raised $15,080.38 through July 16, according to the state Board of Elections.
