Jones Beach’s East Bathhouse reopens after 17-year closure, $100M renovation

The East Bathhouse at Jones Beach State Park is officially open for the first time in 17 years after state officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to cap off $100 million in renovations.

The bathhouse now features a new learn-to-swim pool and interactive family sprayground as part of Gov. Kathy Hochul’s New York Statewide Investment in More Swimming initiative. State and local officials joined the governor for the ribbon-cutting on Friday, July 24.
