Move over, Elon Musk: Mayor Zohran Mamdani has something to say about “government efficiency.”
The mayor on Wednesday moved to dissolve a charter revision commission appointed at the end of Eric Adams’ tenure and replace it with the Commission on Government Efficiency (COGE) — a name that echoes the federal Department of Government Efficiency that the trillionaire Musk led early on in the second Trump administration.
