Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s Department of Transportation is asking for New Yorkers’ input on where roughly 25 new e-bike battery swapping cabinets should be placed throughout the city.

DOT Commissioner Mike Flynn on Friday launched an online portal through which anyone will be able to provide feedback on the agency’s preliminary list of 50 possible locations for the cabinets, amNewYork learned ahead of an official announcement. The portal will remain live through July 31, and DOT will review the public feedback and use it to widdle its list of potential sites down to 25.
