Acting Kings County District Attorney Eric Gonzalez yesterday announced the creation of a Cold Case Unit to investigate unsolved homicides and other crimes that can benefit from advanced DNA analysis.
The unit will have a DNA specialist on staff making it the only prosecutorial office in the State with an in-house DNA expert.
