CM Brooks-Powers announces $568,000 investment in local EMS station and firehouse

Council Member Selvena Brooks-Powers joined FDNY officials and union leaders on Sept. 1 to announce $568,000 in discretionary funding for emergency medical personnel and firefighters serving southeast Queens.

Brooks-Powers joined representatives from EMS Station 54 and Engine Company 311/Ladder Company 158 to celebrate an investment that Brooks-Powers said would strengthen emergency response in the 31st Council District.
