Yuh-Line Niou is a mom, immigrant, and lifelong Democrat running for New York State Senate District 27 in Lower Manhattan. A CUNY graduate who immigrated from Taiwan as an infant, she has spent over a decade fighting for low-income, working, and immigrant families. As an assembly member, she championed landmark tenant protections, affordable housing funding, and consumer financial protections for unbanked communities. She fought to tax the ultra-wealthy and close corporate loopholes to invest in New York, and has been a powerful voice against corruption, sexual harassment, and racial discrimination while building a movement for underrepresented communities across the state.
