Candidate SiteA native and life-long resident of Brooklyn, Sam Sutton has been a founder and prime mover in numerous nonprofits, serving 30 years on the board and as president of Sephardic Bikur Holim, the premier Sephardic community-based social service organizations in the country, including five years as president); co-founder and president of the Sephardic Community Federation, the public policy and political arm of the Brooklyn Sephardic Jewish community; co-founder and treasurer of the New York Cancer Center; founding board member of the Safe Foundation; and former trustee of the Langone Medical Center at NYU Hospital.
