Rebecca made her way to political office by working as a community organizer, environmental educator, and small business owner in her local communities. Through over a decade of connections and conversations, shared successes and frustrations, it became clear to her that the perspectives she’d gathered are too often missing from legislative halls. She has facilitated local progress in her four years serving as a trustee and deputy mayor at the village level, and her collective experiences have prepared and compelled her to bring these voices to Albany.
