Steven Raga proudly serves as assembly member for Woodside, Elmhurst, Maspeth, Middle Village, Jackson Heights, and Astoria. Previously, he worked as executive director of Woodside on the Move, the northeast regional manager for policy & advocacy for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, chief of stafffor Assembly Member Brian Barnwell, and senior strategist for multicultural leadership at AARP. He has previously sat on the non-profit boards of the Western Queens Community Land Trust, Queens LGBT Pride, National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA), and National Urban Fellows Alumni. He holds an M.B.A., M.P.A., M.P.P., and M.S. in health care leadership.
