Candidate: New York State Senate / District 06

Taylor Darling (D)

Candidate Site

Taylor Darling operates with a spirit of excellence that has allowed her to flourish as a three-term assembly member. Using strategic problem-solving skills and coalition-building, she fights hard for Nassau County residents to ensure they have their fair share of funding and resources from the state. From common sense legislation, to improved roads on Long Island, and everything in between, Taylor continues to seek solutions to community concerns. As Taylor runs for an open seat in the Senate, she is positioned to become the first woman senator in the sixth Senate District and the first Black senator ever to represent Long Island.

Westbury officials have put $7 million worth of county funding into village projects.
