Wil López is a champion for working families driven by a deep commitment to justice. Raised in Puerto Rico, as the youngest of eight, he overcame an undiagnosed learning disability to become the first in his family to attend college and law school. He worked as a prosecutor where he fought to deliver justice for the community he served. Later as Council legislative director, he passed 22 laws and co-founded the City Council Union. A relentless advocate, he fights for domestic violence survivors, tenants, and underrepresented communities. Wil lives in the district with his wife, Luisa, and their son, Lucas.
