Candidate: New York City Council / District 47

Kayla Santosuosso (D)

Candidate Site

Kayla Santosuosso has spent her career improving the lives of working people, and learning how to deliver for her neighbors. Leading a local nonprofit she built trust in southern Brooklyn’s diverse communities, and learned about what kind of support people really need. As a city attorney she learned how city agencies work (or don’t), while protecting tax-payer dollars from fraud. As a former small business owner, she learned the value of these vibrant institutions, but also the challenges they are facing. When elected she will ensure that our communities receive honest, effective, and timely services from the City Council.
