Candidate: New York City Council / District 04

Bejamin Wetzler (D)

Candidate Site

Ben Wetzler is a public servant, former Democratic Party district leader, and housing policy specialist with more than a decade of experience in state government and grassroots political organizing on the East Side of Manhattan. He grew up in the 4th Council District on the Upper East Side, where his parents still live, and lives with his partner in Stuyvesant-Town. Ben believes it’s time to plan for a better future with smart, data-based policy solutions that improve lives. As our next City Council member, Ben Wetzler will take action to lower housing costs, keep our families safe, and improve our neighborhoods.
