Candidate: New York City Council / District 17

Freddy Perez Jr. (D)

Candidate Site

Freddy Perez Jr. grew up in the South Bronx, where his father, a livery driver and president of the Non-Medallion Livery Association, taught him to fight for a better future. After serving six years in the Marine Corps, Freddy returned home to honor his father’s legacy. A small business owner for over 20 years, he serves on Community Board 1 as vice chair, and as male Democratic district leader for the 84th Assembly District. Through toy drives, turkey giveaways, and humanitarian efforts in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico, Freddy remains dedicated to uplifting our communities.
