Joel R. Rivera is a seasoned community advocate with extensive experience in public service, outreach, and economic development. As a community relations associate in the Office of NYC Comptroller John C. Liu, Joel leverages his strong network of elected officials, business leaders, and nonprofits to build impactful partnerships. He has held roles at the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation and founded Servicing Our Youth (SOY). A George Washington University graduate, Joel is committed to uplifting City Council District 13 through quality housing initiatives, voter engagement, and sustainable economic opportunities.
