Oma Holloway
Oma is an advocate in Central Brooklyn for quality youth services/resources and quality education. As the Principal Strategist for ADENA, She and her team of consultants provide customized support services and training to community based organizations , civic groups, small businesses and Charter Schools in the community. As a committed volunteer, Oma serves as the 1st Vice Chairperson of the Community Board 3 and Chairperson of the Education and Youth Development Committee of Community Board 3 (Brooklyn); Co-Chairperson of the Bedford Stuyvesant YES Task Force; and Board Member of many organizations such as IMANI House, Inc, Community Partnership Charter School, and Children of Promise NYC. In addition, she created and managed a civic youth group for young people ages 14 – 21 years called MY BASE (Motivated Youth, Building All Self-Empowerment).
