Orkin takes landslide win in AD 38

State Assembly District 38 is set to have a new representative in David Orkin.

Orkin, a democratic socialist, won the Nov. 3 general election with a whopping 73.3 percent of the vote, according to preliminary results from the city Board of Elections. He defeated Republican Ruben Cruz II, a Community Board 9 member and area leader.
