Gov. Kathy Hochul has widened her lead over Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman to 14 points with less than a week until Election Day, according to a new Siena University poll released Wednesday that also found Mayor Zohran Mamdani gaining popularity among New York City voters.
The survey found Hochul leading Blakeman 54% to 40% among likely New York voters, compared with a 50% to 41% advantage noted in Siena’s September polling.
