2026 Governor’s Race: Hochul hammers Blakeman’s Trump ties in final TV ads as NYC early voting outpaces 2022 contest

As early voting in New York City outpaces the 2022 gubernatorial race, Gov. Kathy Hochul‘s campaign is using a multimillion-dollar advertising push in the final week before Election Day to hammer home its main attack on Republican Bruce Blakeman, tying him to President Donald Trump.

Three new ads that began airing Tuesday accuse Blakeman of backing Medicaid cuts, higher health insurance costs and aggressive immigration enforcement. Each ends with the same warning to voters that Blakeman will “always put Trump ahead of you.”
