Trump’s 2030 Census plan sets up ‘round two’ fight with AG James, Speaker Menin

New York Attorney General Letitia James and City Council Speaker Julie Menin said Thursday they will formally oppose the Trump administration’s proposed overhaul of the 2030 Census and are preparing for another legal fight if the changes move forward.

James and Menin plan to submit public comments against the proposed rules and are calling on the administration to extend the Oct. 13 comment deadline.
