Gov. Kathy Hochul leads Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman in two polls released Wednesday, though the surveys differ sharply on the size of her advantage less than six weeks before Election Day.
A Siena poll found Hochul leading Blakeman 50% to 41% among likely voters, little changed from her 49% to 39% lead in August. A Quinnipiac University poll, also released Wednesday, put Hochul ahead 58% to 39%.
