Southampton Billionaire Leon Black Sues Congress to Block Epstein Inquiry

Southampton home-owning billionaire Leon Black has filed a lawsuit to quash subpoenas ordering him to turn over non-disclosure agreements to the congressional committee investigating late convicted pedophile and accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Black, the co-founder of Wall Street firm Apollo Global Management, alleged in Washington federal court papers that the House Oversight Committee’s probe threatens to illegally invade the privacy of women unconnected to Epstein — but the committee chairman countered that Black’s testimony is essential to the investigation.
