Saratoga DA joins Manhasset mom’s push for Kyra’s Law

Ten years after Manhasset toddler Kyra Franchetti was killed during a court-ordered visit with her father, her mother, Jacqueline Franchetti, joined prosecutors, domestic violence advocates and survivors Thursday to urge Gov. Kathy Hochul to sign Kyra’s Law.

Speaking at a press conference in Ballston Spa, Franchetti marked the anniversary of Kyra Franchetti’s death while renewing her call for the governor to approve legislation that supporters say would strengthen child safety protections in custody and visitation cases.
