President Donald Trump is set to visit Long Island in the midst of Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman’s run for governor.
Blakeman, who is challenging Democratic incumbent Gov. Kathy Hochul for New York State’s top position, said on Monday, Aug. 10, that he is looking forward to Trump’s upcoming local appearance. Trump is expected to be in Nassau County on Friday, Aug. 14, to join local and state Republican officials to tout law enforcement issues.
