Ariola secures $18 million in funding for Broad Channel Library renovations

Council Member Joann Ariola has secured an $18 million investment for renovations at Broad Channel Library in the Fiscal Year 2027 budget.

The City Council had previously set aside $250,000 for flood resiliency measures outside the library in FY 2018, but later determined that the library required a total overhaul and renovation.
