Whitestone Republican Club celebrates America’s 250th with tribute to veterans and patriotism

The Whitestone Republican Club marked America’s 250th anniversary with a patriotic evening of speeches, tributes and community celebration on Wednesday, July 8 in Whitestone. The event, held at the American Legion Hall at 10-20 Clintonville St., brought out elected officials, candidates, veterans and local residents to honor the nation’s history and encourage civic engagement.

Hosted by Council Member Vickie Paladino, who leads the Whitestone Republican Club, the program opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.,” setting a patriotic tone for the celebration.
