Council Member Phil Wong has announced that he has secured $22.7 million in capital and expense funding for Council District 30 as part of the Fiscal Year 2027 Adopted Budget, which includes over $20 million in capital investments for long-term improvements to schools, libraries, parks and streets.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the New York City Council reached a deal on the $125.8 billion budget for FY2027 on Tuesday, hours ahead of the June 30 deadline.
