The debate over the 3rd Street Basketball Court has been ongoing for several months. There has been a $50,000 donation to upgrade the basketball court, but it has suffered significant pushback. Seven local kids attended the Village of Greenport board of trustees meeting on Thursday, June 25 alongside resident Sonya Ringhalder to fight for the court and its upgrades.
