A lifelong New Yorker from the Upper West Side, Assembly Member Micah Lasher has gained extensive experience in government and public policy. Prior to his election to the State Assembly in 2024, Lasher served at all three levels of government. He has helped write gun safety laws and contributed to comprehensive legislation to protect abortion providers and patients.
