State Sen. Joseph Addabbo has announced that local Woodhaven veteran Dominick Pepe has been inducted into the New York State Veterans Hall of Fame, honoring Pepe’s distinguished and lengthy career that saw him receive numerous honors and commendations.
Pepe, who reitred honorably from the United States Army with the rank of Sergeant First Class after completing 30 years of service, was drafted into the Army in 1968, having previously served as a cadet in the Sea Scouts.
