Carl Badean, a 40-year Syosset resident, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on Nov. 1, 2025, while playing golf on the 16th hole at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course in Woodbury.
But thanks to the help of but four people, Badean’s life was saved.
