The Hempstead town board voted on Tuesday, April 28, to delay its decision on a code change that would limit house sizes in Levittown and other areas to 27.5% of the lot.
The code, which currently stipulates that houses can take up 30% of their plots, will be considered at a further hearing on May 12.
