The Glen Cove City Council unanimously approved an “emergency purchase” of $140,800 to replace an existing carbon installation at one of the city’s wells, as part of its ongoing effort to provide safe drinking water to residents.
The council voted at the Tuesday, April 28, meeting to remove the existing GAC F300AR carbon installation at Well #32 and replace it with a new F300AR carbon.
