State Sen. John Liu joined elected officials and a coalition of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community members outside the State Capitol in Albany Tuesday morning to call on the state legislature to pass the AANHPI curriculum bill.
Liu joined Assemblymembers Nily Rozic and Grace Lee, along with members of the Representing and Empowering AANHPI Community History (REACH) Coalition in Albany, as part of the coalition’s annual advocacy day on April 21.
